Patchgrabber I believe the rule is that to prevent a hangover you should drink twice as much water as you do alcoholic beverages. Of course that applies for the same night, not the morning after. You could try some hair of the dog to delay your hangover, as ethanol is a better competitor for alcohol dehydrogenase than is methanol, the form your body converts ethanol into.
