I'm Sorry Things Didn't Turn Out Better, Love...

Today I went to my boyfriend's (Our 2-year anniversary is in September) birthday party. He was excited and wanted me to help with the dance music since dance is my favorite genre of music. Of course I accepted his offer and also gave him some ideas on what kind of stuff the guests could do at the party since he was kinda clueless. We both agreed on the idea of a dance/water fight. I was really excited too, so last night I stayed up really late picking out songs for the party playlist. I wanted him to have a really good birthday party because he's always been so sweet to everyone and he even spent all of his birthday money on a videogame for me ;~;...

Well today when I came over there I noticed there was only one guest so far, but it wasn't akward since it was a pretty good friend of ours. We figured it was just early and all the people would come later, so we just kind of sat there for a while.

Well, except for his other friend, who practically lives with him, no one else came.

I felt really bad for him but he didn't seem to mind. (He was still smiling that same peaceful smile, as if he were used to it).

We all sat on the trampoline and sprayed each other with the water hose in the backyard. Then we dried off and listened to anime-style songs on the computer while I drank my green tea and they ate hamburgers and hotdogs they cooked on the grill (I didn't eat any because honestly I questioned their cooking) but then we played a few videogames and ate a bit of his birthday cake. I liked it, actually. I just dont know if he did in truth, since he WAS expecting more of..well.. a party.

If you read this Ryan,
I'm sorry it didn't turn out the way we planned it, but think of the unexpected fun as a sort of birthday surprise I guess ^_^"
I hope you considered this as a good day.
I did <3
Happy Birthday, love.

You're boyfriend sounds like a cool guy. I grumped this because on my last birthday my girlfriend of almost a year (about two weeks shy) confirmed that we were taking a break. And we all know what that means. She actually tried to out with me again, but after she that I didn't really want to date her anymore. But I'm glad your boyfriend seemed happy, sometimes a smaller croud is better.
