Thinking about death wile on an airplane.WOW. See I am a frequent flier (as in I go to Spain once or twice a year & other trips) and let me tell you I HATE FLYING.
Been doing this since I was 5 but I can't remember not being afraid so just even thinking about dying one a plane is bad enough but this is what my brother turned and said to me once on a plane:
SEBASTIAN: You ever get that feeling when you get on a plane that "this is it" its the end?
ME: WELL NOT UNTIL NOW BUT THANKS.
SEBASTIAN: I'm just saying, you were a great sister ...

Patchgrabber Statistically speaking, flying is one of the safest means of travel. The risk of crashing goes up with every takeoff and landing, whereas with driving a car, the risk goes up the longer you're driving the car. I believe your fear is misplaced, unless you are a control freak like me or have a fear of heights too.

Patchgrabber How could you not feel safe in a spaceship? Unless it was Space Mountain. Pitch black roller coasters are freaky.

MoodyMike I normally hate taking off but am ok after, apart from one time when the rear door wasn't closed properly and we had to pretty much crash land as soon as we took off, it was really scary as none of us knew what was going on.
JazzTheDarkness I'm a frequent flier too. But I've never been scared on a plane, well one, but that was because we had a noob pilot and there was turbulence and they guy couldn't land the plane. We went around and the plane shook and it was nighttime and stormy and it was kind of creepy. But save for that time flying is fun. I love taking pictures of the clouds. :D
