| How to add new items? | ||
This is a step by step guide on how to add new items to Grumper, great if you are new to this site and want to do things properly.
1. First and foremost, check if your items meets our community guidelines. We have zero tolerance for racism & hatred. Read the guidelines for more information.
2. Use the search option to check if someone hasn't already submitted an item exactly like yours. The search bar is located at the top of each page, just below the logo
3. In order to add a new item, you have to be registered and logged in. If you are registered then login, if not then register first.
4. Click Add new item link. You can also find this link when browsing categories, if you click it there then please jump to step 6.
5. Choose a category from the list in the page that opens. If your not sure which category to add, then try viewing some categories first to get a sense of what's going on. If you feel like a category is missing then you can suggest a new category.
6. Next is the item description and title. Fill in the title field with a proper title that would describe your item best. Write a short but interesting description that would attract other users to visit your item. If you are not sure, see other items in the same cateogry to get a sense of how items look in that cateogry.
7. Now choose an image to go with your item. This is not a must, but would significally improve your item's appeal. Click on "From File" if you wish to upload a file from your PC. Click on "From Link" if you wish to link to an existing image in the internet. You will have to verify that you have the rights to distribute the image you have selected. If you feel the image isn't fitting very well, try to crop it to a 1:1 ratio. That is 100x100 pixels, for example.
8. Last is the preview page, which lets you get a look of how your item would show in the lists. Hit the continue button if everything looks good and you are happy with your new item. Otherwise click on "back" and change what you didn't like.
