ChesireCLAM So there's this trending on tumblr with these things called tulpas, which is, in theory, creating another sentient being inside your head. Tibetan monks used to do this. Some kiddies on tumblr decided it would be fun to do this and basically roleplay with them? idk. But it's not healthy to force yourself to believe there's another being in your head, and the Tibetan monks knew that Tulpas were dangerous, which is why they had to remove them after so long. But the tumblr kiddies don't know/acknowledge this.

Valie It's hilarious to think think kiddies have as much discipline as a Buddhist monk to materialize a thought.

So maybe you should just explain to them an imaginary friend is by far not a Tulpa and if they wanna run around telling people they have imaginary friends at 15 or 16 or whatever then they should prepare for a life under heavy sedatives XD Sorry, but it had to be said, it's irritating as fuck.
